Before you pluck or tweeze, begin by mapping where the brow line should be.

  1. Looking straight into mirror, place a pencil vertically along the bone on the left side of your nose; with tweezers, pluck anything that lies to the right of the pencil. Repeat on the right side, removing hairs that lie to the left of the pencil. The space between the brows should be equal to, or a little smaller than, the width of your eye.
  2. Next place the pencil directly along the outer corner of your pupil. Where the pencil meets the brows is where the arch should be – ideally three-quarters along the brow.
  3. To determine length, place the pencil diagonally from bottom of nose toward temple. This is where brow should end. Trim long hairs with scissors; groom with brush.
