Most of our cities all around the world are a toxic jungle. These are the price of modernization that we are reaping continually. The exhaust fumes, pesticides residues, food preservatives and many other agents that are carcinogenic potential.

These toxins contribute a lot to respiratory distress, fatigue, headache, skin disorders, digestive problem and even immune deficiency. These toxins weaken the liver, gallbladder, pancreas and intestines resulting to weak performance of these organs, as these organs are responsible of clearing toxins in our blood.

Detoxification has lots of ways like herbal. One good example is green tea. Green tea contains antioxidants. Teas help digestion, it aid regular bowel movement. This restores intestinal health which is the best place to start detox process. Teas like water lighten the workload of digestive organ.

Eating healthy diet is also recommended. Fresh fruits and vegetables are good, whole grains, nuts, garlic, onions, turmeric and ginger. Cutting foods that are hard to digest like meats, high-fat foods can be a great help. Food supplement like vitamin C and E should be taken to stay healthy.

Fasting is considered the best way to detoxify, but this is not recommended to somebody with ulcer. Fasting allows the body to use the fats in the body because dietary fats and carbohydrates are unavailable. Since fats are found in adipose tissue and toxins are also stored in adipose tissue then fasting liberates the toxin.

Sweating is another option. Therapies that promote perspiration help the skin move waste out of the body. Hot baths, good exercise, saunas or any activity that enhances blood circulation and sweating can have cleansing and stimulating effect, thus we don’t have to engulf all those toxins and set around the corner just waiting when to be sick. We have to detoxify to enjoy life more.
