I thank God that today is payday. I really don’t have enough money for our groceries and two of my kids don’t have provision for two weeks. Most of the time to make both ends, my husband will make payday loans especially when all our kids are still students. I used to have five kids in school. But two of them already graduated from college. I am so blessed because both of them are giving money every month. Of course, I don’t ask for it. They lend it to us heartily.
Last month, we thought we won’t be able to send my third child to college because my husband lost his regular job due to recession. College fees are soaring and we don’t know where to get the money. I am so thankful my eldest daughter takes the move to apply for a payday loan. She was able to get great interest rate and repayment terms.
Paying my third child’s tuition is not part of my eldest budget. But, she takes care of it until now. I am so thankful that my kid grows responsible and kind to all her siblings. Well, all of them grow loving and take care of each other all the time. I hope that their treatment to each other won’t change until they grow old.
Does your black, blonde or gray hair history showing? Try eco hair dyes next time you want to change your dark roots (or any colored ‘do, for that matter), so you can look fierce without the caustic chemicals in normal dyes.
Some benefits for doing these are: It’s healthier than watching a 12-hour miniseries in one sitting. Studies link the common hair dye ingredient coal tar to bladder cancer and lymphoma. Another thing is hair worthy of a 704-page novel. (Well, maybe not 704 pages…) Typical dye ingredients such as ammonia can dry out hair to the extreme. These won’t! And because the colors come from minerals and plants, they look far from synthetic. Lastly, it is biodegradable. When ingredients such as ammonia, chlorine bleach, and coal tar wash down the drain, they don’t disappear – but with eco-ingredients such as henna and wheat germ that’s not such an issue.
In fact one of my friends got her hair “did” using the natural color process, which covered up her gray perfectly. Her son opted for platinum blond using the same process and then proceeded to shave it off – but she said that it looked great while it lasted.

For the past few days, I used to catch myself daydreaming about going to a vacation especially to one of those Orlando vacations. My daughter says she will treat us to a vacation. But, until now it did not happen. Maybe this is due to the ongoing recession. Or maybe she forgets the promise she made to me, like people say promises are made to be broken. I hope this is not the case since its okay if she treats us to a local vacation. I don’t really need an out of the country vacation since I don’t have a passport. Hahaha! I will just wait, I hope her words will happen.
