opt for new eco walletsDo you want a wallet that doesn’t look like Bull? Well, rather than grin and Bear it, opt for new eco wallets – made with materials such as recycled leather, they’re now lining bitter pockets everywhere. Want to try these following wallets:

  • DB Clay – made from tope (a green alternative to leather and toxic plastics), with embossing or retro images.
  • Ashley Watson – for the ladies; made from reclaimed leather, with a knot or button closure.
  • Dean Accessories – vintage leather jackets-turned-wallets.
  • Vy & Elle Vyfold Wallet – recycled-billboard wallet with plenty of pockets for coins, biz cards, and more.
  • Jimi – recycled, hard-plastic case (kinda like a money clip) that goes in your front pocket, purse, or on your key chain.
  • Keen Marshall – constructed from surprisingly durable recycled rice bags.

Benefits would be style you’ll be Dow Jonesing for. And, you will be investing in a greener future. These wallets save landfill space by incorporating materials like recycled plastic and even, um, rice bags.

a dull day

Today is such a dull day. There are no great events to brag about. It’s just one of my routine, boring days. What else could I do aside from surfing the net and watching TV? I guess I would check for some floor mats. It’s not that I badly need it. I think I have to look for stuff, I don’t usually check. It’s kind of amazing that car floor mats not only make a car look nice, it also a good way to protect the car carpet from dirt and grime. Also, it provides cushion for the driver’s feet to rest for driving comfort. And, buying and using such allows lesser expenses as compared to changing the entire car carpet.

  • the wants to trim down

I am not the only one in the family who wants to trim down. My second child wants it as well. The truth is, he is not an overweight individual. In fact, his weight fits his age and his height. I consider him healthy. However, according to him, he is not satisfied as he is not exercising regularly. He sits most of the time in the office that means less physical activity.

He tried enrolling in a gym, but he doesn’t like to go alone. He wants a friend or a family member to accompany him. It’s actually not good as he will have to pay for two people. Her eldest sister told him that he can save more if he buys fitness equipment like Elliptical or treadmill.

I would rather choose elliptical rather than treadmill because it is a non-impact cardiovascular workout that can vary from light to high intensity based on the resistance preference set by the user. I really don’t want a tedious kind of workout. For my age, I have to take it slow or I might loss interest in my goal after a period.

Back to my brother, I still don’t know when he will commit to fitness equipment. But, one thing is sure he will surely buy one in the future.

Recession in Fashion IndustryRecession has not failed to take a toll on the fashion industry, which just like any other segment, has been affected in unforeseen ways by the economic downturn. From the Italian fashion industry, arguably the strongest of the lot, seeking governmental assistance to pull through, to designers bringing back trends that focus on functionality and practicality, fashion has started to change to adapt. And so has the demand for male models.

Before the recession, male models were tall and slim, with hollow cheeks, plump lips and big, bewildered eyes. They had perfect hair and perfect everything, up to the point of being close to be mistaken for women. In fact, this was precisely the type of ambiguity that the fashion industry promoted and looked for in every newcomer. Models like the Russian, who was considered the epitome of masculinity a couple of years back, were everywhere –as we got richer and everything in our life gained proportions, the models got smaller and leaner.

Now, with fashion still struggling to come up with ways to survive the recession, the muscular model is making a comeback. It’s as if the industry is looking for strong arms and wide chests in the men it puts on the catwalk as an assurance of sorts that this too shall pass. And, if it doesn’t, at least they can find comfort in those strong arms.

the expanding market for used carThere is a grandiose and perpetually expanding market for used car parts that is supported by millions of car owners. New replacement parts are often expensive and unnecessary. A lot of people opt to save money and buy used parts from a number of convenient sources. Below, we’ll provide you with an overview of 5 places from which you can buy used auto parts at a discount.

    Swap Meets

Swap meets are a great place to find parts because vendors are usually open to negotiating prices. You’ll find some vendors specialize in parts for certain makes or models. Others may only carry a certain type of part. Many of these vendors use swap meets as a way to make a little extra money. Bring cash and they’ll be willing to deal.

    Junkyards

Huge heaps of rotting cars are mostly a thing of the past. Today’s junkyards offer trackable inventories, better organization and increased convenience. Plus, if one salvage yard doesn’t have the part you’re looking for, they can often check the inventories of other junkyards for you. (more…)

My third child teases me for binge eating. I am actually aware of that. I want to lose weight because I feel symptoms of high blood pressure. However, every time I tried to control my diet, it doesn’t seem to work. My appetite is not curbing at all. I am still eating a lot of food and it hurts to see that I am jeopardizing my weight loss goal.

One of my friends introduced me to phentermine. Of course, she says lots of things about it. But, I have to do my own research besides it my own body that I will risks. It’s actually recognized as one of the most effective weight loss treatments on the market. It’s a prescription appetite suppressant available only with a doctor’s note. It gained bad reputation because of its several side effects and health concerns due to it powerful ingredients. Good thing is that there are a number of safer alternatives available in the markets these days. One of this could be what I need.
