It’s the end of the month again, and I already received several bills. I’m just surprise that our electricity and water bill sky rocketed. Of course, I investigated the issue and find no electrical tapping or water leakage. Most likely this is due to irresponsible usage of our utilities. Now, I need to start educating the whole family on water saving by turning off the spigot while washing at the sink, brushing teeth, and washing dishes. I noticed during my investigation that they keep the water following every time they brush their teeth. Plus, they are used to long, luxurious showers especially the kids.
As for our electricity, we have a very bright house during the night. All lights are left on in all rooms even if not in use. I keep on going around just turning it off. And, most of all they love to turn the air-conditioning on the whole night. I have to wake up around three or four just to turn it off. I keep on telling them to become responsible in using electricity. I’ll just hope that our utility bills will decrease next month.
My husband and I will soon turn 50. Not 50 years of being together, but 50 years of age. I forgot I still have one year to go before hitting that age. Hahaha! I’m pretty old that is why I want to enjoy things that I haven’t experienced yet like a luxurious family vacation perhaps.
It would be bad of me to say I haven’t been to a family vacation. My children will be mad at me if I say that. But, I want a grand all-inclusive escapade with my entire family.
I have been reading a lot about the Karisma hotels on the secluded white-sand beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya. They offer Gourmet-Inclusive concept, designed especially for foodies. Each of their resort offers an elite level of service, luxurious accommodations, invigorating entertainment and the classy snap-to service that responds to discerning travelers’ requests. That is really interesting. I just wish I will win the lottery.
It has been said that a Mothers touch is different. It seems Dad always says, “Go ask your mother”. One thing about being a mother, the touch of love, joy, protection, and care comes naturally. These are just a few attributes a mothers touch produce. When your child is sick or not feeling well – who does he call? Mothers! Dad could be sitting right next to your child. But nothing is like a Mothers Touch! When you find out you are going to be a mother, you change physically and emotionally. Preparing for this new role is challenging, most of all it can be rewarding for you and your children. Along with the touch of a mother, we must also make plans to meet our children needs – financially, spiritually and emotionally. God’s Word has given us clear instruction for training our child. Proverbs 22:
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. That touch of instruction carries great rewards, however motherhood is not easy! We can’t give up on any little obstacle: We must be determined to be the best mother we can. We can’t let challenges in life consume us. Find time to relax, read, enjoy a brisk walk, a soothing bath to keep your mind from the hustle, you encounter in life. As you continue to apply the Word of God to your life, you will find your mind renewed, and you will achieve victories! (more…)
When I first started blogging, I don’t really appreciate ranking of any sort. I just write my post, visit my friends and read my fellow bloggers post. My daughter who introduced me to blogging did not actually teach me the benefits of SEO.
Basically, seo tools are often used by business. Ensuring good placements for a web site in the major search engines is essential. Without seo the site will remain unknown to the company target group.
Probably my daughter did not bother to teach me about Seo, is the fact that I won’t be benefiting from it. Or I can? I’m actually having a hard time dealing with it whether or not it is useful for me or not. But, I’ll just continue what I am doing and that’s it.
I am so happy that my daughter gave me a visit with two pieces of Durian as present. I thought she will not come because of the heavy rainfall. But, she made it and we have few laughs and chats that perk up my day.
We have talked to a lot of things, starting with the tragic typhoon that flooded Manila area and ended with her business idea. She is asking for suggestions and comments about investing in vending machine business. She laid out several of its benefits which are as follows:
With all that benefits, I could greatly say that it is a very attractive one. Even though I like it a lot, it is still her decision to make.
I feel like it’s been years since I had a haircut. Okay, that is exaggerating, only months I think. However, my hair is about shoulder long. And I am used to very short haircut like that of boy cut. And my gray hair already conquered my head.
My husband already lends me some money to go to the salon. But, I opt not to. My daughter says that we will go together, me, my eldest and my third child. It’s also a good way to bond with my daughter that is the reason I will wait for that time. Hopefully that won’t take long. I’m looking really old and ugly with my current cut with loads of gray hair.
