Last month, we have been horrified about the news of my mother-in-law’s condition. They say she is suffering from an aging condition, where she can no longer stand or move on her own. We instantly gave her a visit to see if it’s true. Unfortunately they are right. She can’t even move her hand to touch her grand children, which she always does before. Even lying down in bed from sitting seems impossible. What more going to the comfort room?

For a long time, I have been talking about my wants to get rid of my weight. Well, it is not that easy. Despite having to spend a lot of time to drop my pounds, it is too easy to get it back. All it takes is my supposedly regular meal, then I am I’m back to my old me.

It is indeed a struggle to get rid of excess weight especially if you have been like that for a long time. Let me count, if I am not mistaken I think I have been obese for at least ten years now. It all started when after I gave birth to my youngest and it persists to be like this until this time. Sigh!

Well, I guess the best way for me is to patiently wait to see the result I want. And, devoutly follow my diet plans and never cheat to it again.

Excess weight is one of the things that women don’t like to have. However, getting rid of it isn’t as easy as it sounds it is. For all those who have been trying to lose weight, they know weight loss can be a struggle. Some even start thinking to do something drastic such using diet pills just to see results in a few weeks time.

Basically, even if I have lots of money, like say millions or billions of dollars, I don’t see myself buying too expensive bags. Of course, I am not saying don’t buy them, it is just my opinion for myself. One of my reasons for not agreeing to it is the fact that bags will worn out after sometime. Then, what’s next? I will just throw it away. That’s why I don’t consider things that worn out as an investment. They are just luxuries.

If I own lots of money, then I will rather buy not so expensive bags, and then buy gold or jewelries. Those things don’t depreciate in value. It actually appreciates after sometime. So, if I opt to Sell Gold, I will get income. My money is not wasted. I can even give the income to help the needy.

Well, again that is just my opinion. I know life is too short not to splurge on something. Plus, I know of the fact that some people just have so much that they no longer know where and what to spend their money. I guess this is just my perspective for now because I don’t have too much.

Not long ago, the Bureau of Internal Revenue announced that they will implement a firmer tax collection policy. They will review all the taxpayers’ records to see those who are not paying the right amount of taxes. From then they will give out appropriate punishment especially to tax evaders, which could be in a form or penalty or surcharges or imprisonment.

The only problem, there is not much choices on how to pay taxes. Of course, not all people have the luxury to visit the nearest office. Some will have to take a time off from work just to file their tax documents. Another problem is that the process takes too long. I am not sure what causes it probably due to lazy staff or they just don’t have a systematic approach.

Whatever their reason is, I still think having a file taxes online set-up, like those in the US, could greatly help. Just like my daughter who spends at least two days to finish everything. The mostly spend on falling-in line and waiting for the name to be called. If they just employ online system, it would be very beneficial to busy taxpayers. That way those individuals don’t need to leave their jobs for a day or two.

It is a sad truth that we are living in a crazy, dangerous and unpredictable world today. Burglary can happen any time at any given day to anyone. That’s why it pays off to be aware of everything that is going around. One effective way to know what is going outside and inside your own home is through installing alarm systems and security cameras. It is pretty good way to protect the house from intruders.

With home security mounted outside, homeowners can make sure to see the person when they are coming and if they even plan to go ahead with their illegal plans. They can monitor what is going on both in and outside the house. Tracking what happens in the home is much easier. In other words, having them around is not only good for any homes, but makes worrying a little less often.

From that little fact, I thought about purchasing one in the future especially if we will transfer in a much bigger house in the future.
