When I went to my daughter’s apartment to check her, I was amazed to see fat burning products and few exercise materials. I never know that she is really serious to get rid of her flab. Honestly, I underestimated her willingness to lose weight.
I thought she is just dieting that’s why she is eating small amount of food whenever she visits us every Sunday. But, I realize she is doing it to the extreme. Other than the items I mentioned earlier, I also find lots of cereals above her fridge. According to her, she replaced two of her regular meals to only low-fat cereals and fruits. Also, she is only eating one third of her one regular meal.
Even if she is doing it to the extreme, I find her happy about it. So, I keep my mouth shut. I just remind her to slow down a bit when she reaches her desired weight.
The day is near for my eldest daughter to come home. That’s why I am really excited about it. She says it will be before June ends. By that time I will have my constant chatting companion. Of course, I am not discarding my two other kids next to her because they are already adult who can communicate with me. But, my eldest is the most talkative of them all. And she has a home base job, which means we can talk any time of the day even if she is sitting in her comfortable office furniture.
Speaking of office furniture, I really do not know how to fit that big bulk in this house. There seem to be no more room left for that. If she will really decide to place it here, probably we need to get some of the stuff away. Or she can also sell that in case my husband will not agree to get rid of our stuff.
The whole family is grieving for the loss of my mother-in-law. She passed away May 11 at the age of 79 after a month of suffering. My husband is the most devastated because of so many reasons. One is that no matter what my husband’s heartache to her, she is still the only mother he has. And the day before the incident happen he asked her to wait because he promised to buy her the food she likes. But, before he could reach the store, he received the dreading news.
Well, the whole thing takes a toll in our health as well since we have to be awake almost 20 hours each day especially my husband. The kids are also facing hormonal imbalance because of sleeplessness. Now they have to regain strength. And my first four kids need to treat acne as well as remove puffy eye bags. They have been very supportive to their father for being in the wake every day for four days.
