excited to hear good news

Friday
Jul 2,2010

My daughter left again the second time around. Unlike the first time, I was able to get over it in just two weeks. I feel more comfortable now knowing she can handle herself just like before. Also, I know that this time she and her boyfriend won’t fail in their goal. They came back home to start over and prepare again as they fail their first venture.

Honestly, I’m more excited to hear good news. I thought about preparing a snow boots as early as now. If she learns about my idea, I’m sure she’ll get mad at me. But, what can I do I’m really excited for her and for me. Hahaha!!! I wonder how to buy boots online. That’s what I’m going to research in the next few days.

Anyway, I just hope she won’t read this post. Hehehe… It’s dooms day for me when she does.

Arts and crafts can also help promote teamwork and sharing, as well as offering the perfect opportunity to bond and find new common interests. Arts and crafts also allow kids to openly express themselves, even at very young ages. Nonetheless, despite all these positives, the best reason for getting your kids involved in arts and crafts is that it is fun!

Kid’s arts and crafts can be quick and simple to keep the attention of on-the-go toddlers. They can also be sophisticated and complex for older kids who are up to a challenge. To get an idea of the scope of arts and crafts projects out there, take a trip to your local arts and crafts store or teachers supply shop. These stores will have pre-designed craft kits, including jewelry art, painting kits, and other craft ideas. Each kit will come with instructions and all of the materials you require.

Another good idea, once you have gained some experience, is to walk arts and craft stores to shop for kid’s art ideas. Here are some ideas: try straw painting, where kids can create arts and crafts by blowing paint through a straw onto a poster board or construction paper; or let your kids dip marbles in paint and roll them across the painting surface for a messy (but fun!) painting project.

  • safer alternative to stop smoking

Honestly, I don’t like the idea of smoking cigarette. It’s like I’m burning my money for nothing. I’m just happy the city government implemented an ordinance banning the use of cigarette in public places. I feel a little ensure that I can’t inhale secondary smoke, which is also very dangerous.

Actually, using cigarette is a choice. It all depends to the person if he/she wants it or not. But, using it has drawbacks as it can destroy one’s health. Smoking is the one of the main cause of death every year. Smoking cause number of smoke related diseases such as lung cancer (Smoking and Lung Cancer), respiratory problems and heart ailments and these dangers of smoking are increasing yearly. It leads to the reduction of life expectancy. In the long run, smokers will more likely develop respiratory ailments, thickening of the arteries, blood clots, cancer of the lung, cervix, larynx, mouth, esophagus, bladder, pancreas, and kidney, and emphysema.

With all these, I guess it is easy to say you would stop smoking. However, the process wouldn’t be easy. Many people, who want to stop, lose the battle. There are many methods, but most of them are either ineffective or harmful. Good thing there is a safer alternative by the use of e cigarette.

Thank God it’s Friday! It means I won’t have to wake up early tomorrow to cook breakfast. For sure the kids will be waking up late. So, I have more resting time as well. All I have to do is to finish doing the laundry and clean the house today. That way I will have all day tomorrow to do blogging and some time for myself.

Since it is still early, I thought of checking the ways to buy gold coins again. I already started my research about this a long time ago. But, I feel there is more to learn. Like I always said, gold is a unique kind of investment. It is also a great way to diversified ones portfolio. And it has been recognized as one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power.

As an investment product, gold is available in coin or ingot form. Ingots are generally gold ingots of pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. Coins have a currency value or they are actually defined as ingots. It can be bought at the United States Gold Bureau. It is the place where investor and collectors alike can purchase silver, gold or other precious metals and coins for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository.

If I have money and wealth, I would surely buy this kind of product. But, since I don’t have much I will just be contented with gold jewelry.

    key to a perfect wallpapering

Always remember that the key to a quality wallpapering job begins with proper and thorough preparation. This can be a messy job, so you will want to prepare and protect the room beforehand. In addition, because wallpapering requires precision and a steady pace, you will want to have all the tools and supplies you will need at the ready.

Start by taking all lightweight objects and furniture out of the room. Drape drop cloths over anything remaining and then lay drop cloths on the floor. Lay towels over the baseboards and tape them to the floor underneath the drop cloths. Do not use newspapers as protection anywhere because the ink can transfer onto other surfaces if it gets wet.

Next, take down everything that is on the walls, including rods for window coverings. Remove all electrical faceplates and lighting fixtures but not without turning off the power first. If you have painted any part of the room, such as trim, make sure it is thoroughly dry before starting to wallpaper.

  • the window problem

    Friday
    Jul 2,2010

My daughter left almost all her stuff when she departed to look for much better work. Actually, it was a very good opportunity for us since we are obliged to rearrange everything to make room for the additional furniture and appliances.

One of the things she left that gave us problem is her six month old airconditioning system. I consider it an issue because of our old drafty and inefficient windows in the room where it should be placed. We still need to fix or replace it. But, we don’t know where to acquire quality vinyl. Unlike the Windows Northern Virginia of Metropolitan contractors, people can just call if they need a quality window job. Well, I guess we will really need to hunt for companies like this. Or we could just use whatever we find in hardware stores, then let hubby do the work.

For now, we will just discontinue using the airconditioning to save electricity. Good thing the weather isn’t that hot during the day and it’s raining at night.
