problem that I see

Friday
Jul 16,2010

The rainy weather is actually a good thing as it saves me from watering the plants. I get a lot of savings from my water bill if this continues. The only problem is the outdoor cushions. I invested a lot for those items so I can sit comfortably outside if I want to do so. Yet, I can’t use it these past few days because it may soak in water. I have to put it away from the rain to keep it in good condition.

Anyway, since the weather isn’t sunny, I’ll have to cancel my laundry plan. For sure the clothes will not dry up on time. I will just stay inside my room to do some blogging stuff, entrecard dropping and visiting my blogger friends. I already miss doing all those.

    How did spring rolls get their name? This delicate but filling appetizer has its origins in the annual Chinese Spring Festival. The first spring rolls featured fresh vegetables from the harvest; meat was added later. To transform vegetable spring rolls into a truly vegetarian appetizer, use vegetarian oyster sauce (made with mushrooms).

    What you need:

    * 2 ounces cellophane noodles or rice vermicelli
    * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    * 1 onion, finely chopped
    * 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    * 2 tablespoons peeled and grated fresh ginger
    * 2 cups shredded green cabbage
    * 2 carrots, peeled and grated
    * 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    * 1 cup fresh bean sprouts, rinsed
    * 2 teaspoons fish sauce
    * 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed in 2 tablespoons water
    * 18-20 frozen spring roll wrappers, thawed
    * Vegetable oil for deep frying
    * Thai sweet chili sauce for serving

    For a long time, my kids have been in constant battle with acne. I’m not pretty sure if there is something wrong to their health. One thing is sure though, they have an oily skin. One wrong touch or a day in the sun can terribly open acne to attack.

    Good thing there are lots of adult acne treatments that greatly helps them. Well, they can’t turn the hands of time to stop scarring and holes from their skin. It took them a while to realize that they need to do something about the problem. That’s why it worsens before they start fighting it.

    Anyway, I have the same problem as well. At my age of 50 I still experience occasional sprouts of acne. Probably my kids have the same skin type as mine. Of course, I can’t verify that as I’m not a dermatologist. LoL! I’ll be happy if I see my kids have healthier, pimple free face.
