It never came to my mind to consider silver as an investment product even if I know it has a magnitude of purpose in many industries. Probably this has something to do with my notion that there is much silver supply in the world. So, learning that it is a good investment opportunity like that of gold coin and bullion hits me by surprise.

According to experts there may never be a better time for buying silver bullion than right now. World demand for silver now exceeds annual production, and has every year since 1990. Above ground stockpiles of silver bullion are low, shrinking rapidly and approaching zero. Plus, the U.S. government has become a silver buyer after the silver hoarding is gone. That is the reason many consider silver bars an outstanding investment opportunity.

As an investment product, silver is available in coin or ingot form. Ingots are generally silver ingots of pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. Coins have a currency value or they are actually defined as ingots. If interested, this metal can be bought at the United States Gold Bureau.
