love shiny and sparkling diamonds

I strongly believe that a girl’s best friend is diamonds. Okay I really don’t know if that holds true to all women. As for me, well I think it’s true. I love the shiny, sparkling effects of diamonds. But, I don’t know how to pick and choose the right one.

They said that there are guidelines that need to be followed before buying diamonds. I’ve learned the four Cs, as they’re called that are the cut, color, clarity and carat from Richmond Diamonds site I visited earlier. Of course, it is important to know these C’s as diamonds are an expensive item. It can be as costly as house and car.

After learning all the C’s of diamond, then is the only time to head out to Richmond Jewelry Store. Hmmm, shopping is the most exciting part. I can’t wait when this moment comes. Hopefully it will.

But, for now I’ll just have to let go of that. It’s too expensive and I can’t afford it. I’ll just settle looking around the Richmond Watch Store. A watch is a better choice to keep track of my time.

Feeling dizzy and sleepy pushed me to check my emails as early as now. But, that doesn’t take too long. So, I have to recourse my action to surfing the web because I don’t want an extended sleep. That takes me to the Eagle Creek luggage huge sale.

my shopping mistake

I already mentioned that my daughter me some shops me around as her birthday present. Well, that doesn’t surprise me because she always does that every year. What surprised me are the prices of my clothes.

At that time I am choosing some clothes that I liked. As I looked the tag, okay I said to myself because it’s cheap. I then asked the sales lady to give me a 2XL size. And it fits me well. I am happy to find clothes that I really like in such a short time. The thing is when we got to the counter and the girl swipes the tag to the barcode scanner; I am surprised to see a different amount. It is much expensive than what I thought it would be. I asked the girl why and called the attention of the sales personnel. She explained that as the size increases, the amount also increases.

Hmmm, is that it? Probably yes because the manufacturer uses more cloth in 2XL than that of medium. Well, I can’t do anything about that. I am just concern I did not look at the tag before we hit the counter. Good thing my girl have enough money to still continue the transaction.

I have been hearing a lot of things about gold coins as investment products. There are lots of websites and blogger sites that tackle about this. From reading several articles, I came to understand the value of investing in this unique item.

There are also people who love to collect these coins not as investment, but as passion. However, seldom do I hear about collecting photograph coins. But, as I investigate further about the subject matter I came to realize that I am already left behind. The truth is, there is already a book in the market that teaches photograph collector the proper way to take coin pictures.

Recession in Fashion Industry

Recession has not failed to take a toll on the fashion industry, which just like any other segment, has been affected in unforeseen ways by the economic downturn. From the Italian fashion industry, arguably the strongest of the lot, seeking governmental assistance to pull through, to designers bringing back trends that focus on functionality and practicality, fashion has started to change to adapt. And so has the demand for male models.

Before the recession, male models were tall and slim, with hollow cheeks, plump lips and big, bewildered eyes. They had perfect hair and perfect everything, up to the point of being close to be mistaken for women. In fact, this was precisely the type of ambiguity that the fashion industry promoted and looked for in every newcomer. Models like the Russian, who was considered the epitome of masculinity a couple of years back, were everywhere –as we got richer and everything in our life gained proportions, the models got smaller and leaner.

Now, with fashion still struggling to come up with ways to survive the recession, the muscular model is making a comeback. It’s as if the industry is looking for strong arms and wide chests in the men it puts on the catwalk as an assurance of sorts that this too shall pass. And because the colors come from minerals and plants, they look far from synthetic. Lastly, it is biodegradable. When ingredients such as ammonia, chlorine bleach, and coal tar wash down the drain, they don’t disappear – but with eco-ingredients such as henna and wheat germ that’s not such an issue.

In fact one of my friends got her hair “did” using the natural color process, which covered up her gray perfectly. Her son opted for platinum blond using the same process and then proceeded to shave it off – but she said that it looked great while it lasted.
