While premiering the romantic comedy “Just Go With It” in Spain, Jennifer Aniston unveiled a shorter, lighter ‘do: a blonde bob. Her stylist explains it, saying it was time for a change. Fans of the actress must already know that she’s not the type than changes her hairstyle every other month, which would explain why the mere fact that she got highlights is making headlines.

However, the new bobbed ‘do came even more of a shock since she unveiled it two days after appearing in Berlin with her older hairstyle. Her stylist, Chris McMillan, explains why the decision was so sudden and what it was exactly that prompted it: Jen didn’t want to look like one of the Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As for why they went with a bob instead of a shorter, layered ‘do, McMillan says it’s back on trend again. McMillan is the same stylist responsible for the insanely popular hairstyle known as “The Rachel” that Aniston debuted on the television series “Friends” and which is one of the most copied celebrity hairstyles of all times.

This weekend Nicole Richie is getting married to longtime lover and the father of her children, Joel Madden, reports say. The ceremony will be super private – so small that not even her childhood friend Paris Hilton is invited. Though no official announcement has been made in this sense, paparazzi spotted a lot of activity at Lionel Richie’s (Nicole’s adoptive father) house, prompting speculation that the wedding may take place this weekend – today, in fact.

However, the petite reality star doesn’t want to make a big deal of it, where from the aforementioned lack of an official announcement. In fact, reports cited that she wants the wedding to be such an intimate affair that she deliberately left out Paris Hilton, her former BFF (“best friend forever”), childhood friend and co-star in the series “The Simple Life.”

British actor Tom Hardy, whom fans saw last in this summer’s “Inception” blockbuster, is officially the hottest commodity in Hollywood right now: his name has just been thrown in the mix with that of Angelina Jolie. Disney movies may be a hit with audiences of all ages, but Disney movies adapted into live action films actually have more potential of being money-makers. Add into the mix Angelina Jolie’s name, officially the highest grossing women in Hollywood right now, and that of Tom Hardy, and we might have a huge hit coming our way, ScreenCrave reports.

In lieu of her work as a UN ambassador, the many campaigns she’s led throughout the years and the way she conducts herself in public, Angelina Jolie has been voted the best celebrity role model. WENN conducted a poll with its readers, to try and find out which celebrity they’re most likely to emulate, Glamour Magazine informs.

Not at all surprisingly, Jolie was voted the most inspiring celebrity, winning the top distinction of being the “Best Celebrity Role Model.” Angelina Jolie has been voted the ‘best celebrity role model.’ The actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador, who was snapped last week visiting the victims of flood-stricken Pakistan, received a whopping 44% of the votes registered online,” Glamour Magazine added.

“Angelina was followed by George Clooney who got 18% of the vote for his role as a UN Messenger of Peace. A surprise appearance in the chart was Disney singer and actress Miley Cyrus, who actually managed to defeat U2’s leading man, Bono himself. Teen queen Miley Cyrus and U2 frontman Bono were even stevens at joint third with 16% of the vote, while The Jonas Brothers came in at fifth place with 6%,” the publication further says.

According to the entertainment news, singer Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child: after a recent performance in Brazil, Radar Online is now able to confirm that, indeed, the diva is four months pregnant.

Though this is not the first time rumors of this type get out in the media, there can hardly be any doubt about it this time: after trying repeatedly to get pregnant, the singer is finally with child. The reason Mariah and Nick are not confirming this for the media is that they would rather they kept the happy news to themselves, perhaps out of fear that something might go wrong. Though Mariah shares a very close relationship with her fans, she has solid reason for choosing not to disclose this information to them just yet – but she will probably do so in a few months.

Playing a vampire on the hottest vampire series on television right now, “True Blood,” does come with a high price for Kristin Bauer: she’s almost always hungry and working out. Stars often have to make personal sacrifices to make a character more believable, and Kristin knows that only too well, because she’s completely overhauled her lifestyle just recently. Ever since she joined the “True Blood” cast and, most important, ever since she went to the first wardrobe fitting, the star has been weighing a constant battle against the flab. This is not only about not gaining weight, she explains in a recent interview with People magazine, but rather about fitting the clothes on the show – and looking her best.

“The other day I realized as long as I’m in this business, I’m going to be hungry,” Kristin reveals to People when asked is she’s on any special diet for the hit series. She’s only half joking, she goes on to explain. Her first wardrobe fitting also represented the moment she realized that she need to really spice up her workout routine and cut down on certain foods on the daily menu. “During that first wardrobe fitting, I knew I would have my midriff showing. I thought, ‘I need to get serious’ and started going to ab classes more regularly,” she explains. At least, she’s not in it alone, since the entire cast goes through the same.
