Adobo aloha

ingredients: 1/2 kilo chicken cut into serving size

1 can -250 grams del monte pine apple chunks

3/4 kilo chicken liver

6 cloves garlic crushed

1 piece med. size onion sliced

1 teaspoon pepper corn crushed

3 tbsp. soy sauce

1 tbsp. vinegar

1 chicken cube

3 tbsp. cooking oil

1 tbsp. brown sugar

2 glasses water
Procedure: marinate chicken and half of the liver for 30 mins. in the vinegar soy sauce and the pineapple chunks juice. Set aside the pine apple chunks. In another pan cooked the other half of chicken liver in water for 5 minutes then mashed. Heat cooking oil in a pan add in onion, then garlic then add in chicken and liver including the marinade,then the pepper corn, sugar, and chicken cube stir, cover and let it simmer for five minutes and add the pine apple chunk and mashed liver. Stir in to infuse flavor and cover again, simmer and bring sauce to thickened consistency. Serve hot with rice.

Here is a recipe, I have read and learned from a food magazine, I bought last February..I want to share this, to my fellow blogger since I used to cook this for my family. This is very delicious and nutritious too..

Ingredients:

1) 3 tablespoon of cooking oil

2) 6 cloves garlic crushed and chopped

3) 1 medium onions chopped

4) 1 teaspoon ground ginger

5) 2-3 pieces of tiny red hot pepper chopped

6) 1/2 kilo ground beef

7) 1 can tomato paste a 160 grams

8) 2 cups water

9) 2 blocks of tofu or around250-grams

10) 1 teaspoon sugar, soy sauce and vinegar to taste

Heat cooking oil in a pan add onions, garlic, ginger, beef and hot pepper and stir in to mix, add in water simmer for ten minutes then add in tomato paste and stir then add the tofu, sugar
then little vinegar and season with soy sauce…simmer again for two minutes…Serve hot with rice
and your family will request it for the next meal again..Happy eating.

  • Lamb Chops with herbed Butter good for you!

    Ingredients

    2 pcs Lamb chops, ¾ inch thick

    1 tbsp rosemary

    2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

    2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

    Salt and coarsely ground black pepper

    Herbed Butter

    ¼ cup Butter, softened

    1 tbsp chopped parsley

    2 tbsp chopped basil

    1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper

    Procedure

    Rub lamb chops with rosemary, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook lamb chops in pre-heated grill pan according to your desired doneness.

    Cooking time

    For rare: cook 2 minutes in both side

    Medium: 3 minutes in both side

    Well done: 4 minutes in both side

    Herbed butte: Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Form into a log and chill until ready to use. Serve lamb chops with a slice of herbed butter.
