Satisfying my Craving

This photo was taken at Shakey’s Restaurant a few weeks ago. I was craving for this food for a long time. But, I’m trying to deprive myself from eating because I’m on a diet. As you know, I’m trying to lose weight for a long time. I know the calories I will get from eating this food. However, I could no longer stop myself. I gave in, but I only eat a small portion. The taste of it is enough to fill my cravings that makes me so happy in the end.

I have been hearing a lot of things about gold coins as investment products. There are lots of websites and blogger sites that tackle about this. From reading several articles, I came to understand the value of investing in this unique item.

There are also people who love to collect these coins not as investment, but as passion. However, seldom do I hear about collecting photograph coins. But, as I investigate further about the subject matter I came to realize that I am already left behind. The truth is, there is already a book in the market that teaches photograph collector the proper way to take coin pictures.

The book is called Numismatic Photography published by Zyrus Press and authored by Mark Goodman. It teaches the reader in an easy-to-read and visually rich guidebook format on how to image quality photos of coins with your digital camera. I really find this book interesting just like my interest in coin investments. However, this doesn’t suit me well because I don’t have any lots of coins to photograph to begin with. And, I don’t even have a camera, the reason I don’t place pictures in this blog.

This photo was taken last August when my daughters and I bond together and join the City’s Annual festivities. For years, I haven’t notice this spot until that time. So, I took the opportunity to take even one snap and share it here. I like it a lot because this is located in the heart of the City. It’s refreshing to see a glimpse of nature in the midst of hassle and bustle of the City.

The School of our Dream

This is part of Ateneo de Davao University. The building is huge I can’t take picture of the whole building. This is one of the finest school here in Davao City. The school is manage by the Jesuit priest. This is the school where, two of my five children finished their college and my third daughter is presently enrolled. This school is actually one of the oldest school here in Davao, it has elementary and high school department. The school has just celebrated their 60th founding anniversary last August. This is the school that we dream to be the school for our children. This is located within the heart of the city but, you can’t spot lots of vehicle because the traffic light is green.

Above and below are flowers I plant on our front yard the flower will last for one day but since it blooms everyday I grow them. The middle picture was taken during our trip to my mother’s house I just saw it on our way, it is wild but I find it attractive so I took picture hope you guys like it…

My husband took this picture last Saturday in my mother’s place in the hinterland of Digos city. This is a water buffalo my older sister own. The bull have a good refreshment on the river….This river, I used to cross on my way to school. During heavy rains this river can’t be crossed. We have to wait for an hour in the river banks until the rapids of the flood water will slow down..This river was a part of my life. It brings back my childhood memories. This is part of the place where I started to build my dreams.
