For a long time, I’m just ignoring the leaking faucet in our bathroom. It drips water throughout the day; probably it consumes 10 cubic meters of water a month. Well, that is just an estimate based on my observation. I don’t know if the actual usage is more or less than that.
I don’t have to tell hubby about it because I knew he knows it all along. He is using that room every day of his life so it is impossible to think that he doesn’t know. I think he is just ignoring that. But, I really want him to fix it. Fixing faucet is not part of my job description as a housewife. That is way too much for me.
It seems like he doesn’t care at all despite my whining and complaints. I don’t know any plumbers nearby, but I know the site of plumbers Richmond, VA. Not knowing who to call is one problem I faced every now and then. If ever I know one, I don’t have any cash to pay for the service. Well, I think I’ll just have to ignore it just like what hubby is doing. Besides he is the one paying the bills using his own money.
Even if it bothers me a lot, I’ll try to stay away from it. Hehehe!
My son is now looking for a new company. It’s not that he doesn’t like his current employer, but he heard about the huge benefits the other company offers to their employees. The company is actually considered the biggest bank in the country. And, they got the most impressive salary package for employees. That is why my son is attracted and tried his luck.
He submitted his resume personally to the regional HR head, but she immediately turned him down in that same moment. She said that my son doesn’t qualify to become their employee because he is a biology graduate and he doesn’t have any accounting subjects. Well, it is understandable. But, she told him that he will give him a chance the next time he will submit his resume granting he takes at least 20 or more units of accounting subjects.
My son then inquire to schools if they can help him take accounting subjects. Sad to say they refuse because they only offer regular subjects for regular students. If that is the case he will have to spend another four years in school since most of his subjects don’t match the subject line up for accountancy course.
Sigh! I have been bored for the past few days. It’s not my type to daydream. Whenever I’m bored, I’d rather go to sleep or look for household chores to do. However, there are times I don’t like to do both. And the web is my sweet escape. It is considered the world’s first stress-free hotel. According to the write ups, guests won’t remember the meaning of stress and tension. This is what I really need right now, a vacation that I can truly relax from my daily life. But, that won’t be possible because I don’t have the right financial capacity. And the thing is, Azul Blue is a luxury hotel which does not fit me. I guess I’ll just have to sleep this boredom.
I have been blogging for over two years now. Thankfully I did because it’s a learning process for me. Every day there are lots of things I learned. Unlike before when I am just a plain housewife with no access to learning material except for educational television programs. But, it’s a different story nowadays. As I visit my blogger friends, it seems like my knowledge increased. Like the word futures trading signals. I have no knowledge about it. I just encounter this word in my blogging activities. If I am still the old plain housewife, I don’t think I would know this.
Basically, in finance the term futures contract refers to a standardized contract to buy or sell a specified commodity of standardized quality at a certain date in the future, at a market determined price (the futures price). These contracts are then traded on a futures exchange. These are not “direct” securities like stocks, bonds, rights or warrants. They are still securities, however, though they are a type of derivative contract.
Like I said before, I am really serious in losing weight due to health reasons. I’m old enough to say that I want it to look good. That kind of stuff is no longer appropriate for my age. Oldies like me no longer wished that. I want to achieve lesser weight because of the pain in my joints whenever I walk.
Little by little, I’m already seeing and feeling success in my goal. There’s already space in my pants and I can breathe better than before that means I really lose weight. Yepey! But, as of now it’s just a little success. I can still get injuries if I run in treadmills or in the streets. So, that is a no, no for now. Probably in the future I will for a healthier me.
My daughter offered to update or reformat my computer. Well, she will not be the one that will carry out the process. She actually knows nothing about it. It will be her husband, my son-in-law (future) who will perform the formatting. I’m happy with the offer.
They told me to back up all my files. That’s sounds difficult for me. Even though I am blogging for several months or even a year and have been reading a lot about backup and online backup, I haven’t had any experience doing that. However, I don’t want to ask them about that because that is too bothersome. But, if I take the risk I might put some important information in great jeopardy. Extracting and collecting lost data are even more burdensome than letting them do the backup thing.
Why would I feel this way? In the first place they are my kids. Yah, I let them do it. Hehehe
