Sunday is supposed to be my rest day. But, I can’t just sit back and relax. I still have so many things in my to do list. I’m not yet done with the laundry, have to clean the house, sweep the backyard, and so on. Sometimes being a mother is difficult as it is a 24 hour job, seven days a week, 12 months a year.
But, hubby is so sweet. Instead of me doing the laundry, he takes over my place and shoulders the task. Isn’t that sweet? I did not tell him to do that, but he did. Now I have spare time to blog, to check so many things in the web like the Medicare supplement, and to visit some of my blogger friends. Thanks hubby for being so sweet.
When I was talking to a friend her mouth slips into saying that someone in her family has herpes. Yikes! I am too worried while I’m on my way home because I remember there is one herpes virus that is contagious. As I return home, I immediately scan the web and research about it. Whew! To my relief herpes simplex virus 2 can be transmitted through saliva or in secretions from the genitals.
To further understand, I dig more facts about this virus. Based on my research, Herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 (HSV-1 and HSV-2), also known as Human herpes virus 1 and 2 (HHV-1 and -2), are two members of the herpes virus family, Herpesviridae, that infect humans. Both are ubiquitous and contagious and can be spread when an infected person is producing and shedding the virus.
Its symptoms include watery blisters in the skin or mucous membranes of the mouth, lips or genitals. Lesions heal with a scab characteristic of herpetic disease. However, although it can be treated there is no known cure to kill the virus. The disease lies dormant in the nerve cells, but it may be reactivated by stress or illness.
Thinking of our concerns with our planet, it can be difficult to imagine how any single individual can make an impact, but the old adage of “think globally, act locally,” has never been more appropriate. You can in fact make a difference in the world by making a few simple changes in your home to reduce your negative impact on the world. Here are a few of it:
I may not be able to travel due to financial reasons, but I am still blessed for having an internet connection. Why did I say that? Well, it is simple. I can get the information on certain vacation destinations that I like. I can read reviews and look at the photos of other people who are so kind for publishing their shots. From that I can picture out how the cities look like and it helps me to dream more.
Yesterday, I was able to visit a blog site about Panama. Actually, I’ve been visiting this site for quite some time. I just don’t have too much time to dig more information about the country. Since I am free yesterday, I grabbed the opportunity to look at the panama city beach.
Gosh I’m misled again. From the word panama city, I thought it is located in Panama. But, as I read the Wikipedia, I realize it a city in Bay County, Florida, United States, on the Gulf of Mexico coast. Hehehe! How would I ever know that if I don’t have internet connection? Even if that is the situation, I still continue reading about it. Why not? It is still worth my time.
My daughter seems to have another transfer plans this year. Actually, she did not say it yet. But, my gut feeling is telling me that something is going to happen in the next couple of days. I’m both anxious and excited of what will transpire the next days.
I will be very happy if I will hear that she needs a cross country movers. That would mean she’s on her way to realizing her dreams to live abroad. However, I will be sad if I will hear she will just transfer locally. That just imply that she is serious in settling down even if her dreams have not been realized. Sigh!
Well, this is just my gut feeling. It might or might not happen. But, let’s just see about that.
I got so caught up looking for money making in the web. One of the things I’ve learned is to sell insurance. Well, that is not a bad idea at all. As I tried to research about how to become an insurance agent, I get struck to the fact that there are lots of agents leaving the industry every year.
But, there is a way to get better sales and that is to purchase online insurance leads like the health insurance leads. Getting a quality leads give the agent a large pool of potential prospects to draw from. Also, it keeps the agent competitive in the industry.
Purchasing insurance leads offers many benefits and option. The only key to that is finding a consistent and reliable lead generation company through online or through conventional sources. The only difference is the online lead generation offers an easier way to generate them than the other.
Oh well, I think selling insurance is not a good idea for my personality. Instead of getting a sale, I might end up losing all the leads and might find an enemy in the end.
